Had a conversation with the nice folks at Chewy who were as confused as I was about the delivery of smoker pellets as opposed to the dog food I ordered. There will be a new bag of dog food sent out for delivery today. Wouldn't have been a great big deal except this was for a big ol' nearly $50 bag of food.

Been moving chickens again. I'd like to get them set up in their permanent homes, but they don't seem to want to move. They better get with the program. Also need to relocate some quail pens that the chickens like to roost on. I don't blame the quail for not wanting to sleep under pooping chickens. Geeze!

Also plan to start some microgreens today. Want to definitely get some peas going and some popcorn. Love those!

Time to get back to it.

Spent most of the day outside again. Trying to make the most of the decent weather we're having. Today I dug a hole in the corner of the pig pen to partially bury a galvanized tub. I bought it for a pig waterer but they're legs are so short they can't really reach into it very well. So, it now lives in a hole in the ground. I took a stock panel and placed it diagonally across the corner to block off the tub. Then, I got my trusty grinder and opened a pig head sized hole in the stock panel. They can stick their head through it to drink. I'll add a float valve as soon as I get it and voila(!) hands off pig waterer! Pigs love water. When they were little I had a kiddie wading pool for them. They're not so little anymore but they still love their pool.

Wow...that's some mud those pigs are in and loving it!!! Mud's their favorite thing, after food.

They definitely ARE cute! Eat them? Yes, I will!

But, I'm cute (lol) and they would eat me in a heartbeat! In fact, Chester tried to get a taste test of my ankle today. They're not mean though - just curious.

Wow...that's some mud those pigs are in and loving it!!! Mud's their favorite thing, after food.

We had some rain, but most of that mud is because they like to empty their pool and then sit around and look pitiful until I put more water in it!

And if there's no pool (like my spoiled guys get) they'll dig their own hole! Heck, they dig their own holes even if they have a pool...
