And, isn't that the truth? Whether any of us admit it, we do not own the things we call our own. We are merely stewards of them for a time. You have been greatly blessed, and are wise for acknowledging where your blessings come from.
Truth, as far as I understand it. Maybe more people should come to the same conclusion and they might be more respectful and appreciative of stuff.

I just pulled the AC D19 into the barn to change out all the fluids. Why is it when it's cold outside all the bolts holding 4 guage electric wires on the battery terminals and starter just magically loosen all by themselves?

If there was anything good in there I would have saved it. It did save the steel from an old cultivator. But I don't believe it can be made operable again. The steel can be reused though for other things.

What a pita but all the oils are changed besides the power assist steering. I think I might have to take the lower hydraulic hose off to get that fluid out.

Before the oil changes, I could hear and feel the hydraulic pump kick in as I let off the clutch. It became a familiar sound. But with the new oil and filter no engine bog or noise of the hydraulic pump kicking in. So all in all I would say worth the time and money spent. Oils probably haven't been changed in years.

For my reference...

1 gallon Traveller's multi purpose gear oil 80w90 pin each final drive (2 gallons)

8 gallons Traveller's multi purpose gear oil 80w90 in the transmission

4 gallons Traveller's Renew trans/hydraulic in the power director / hydraulic pump

7 quarts Shell Rrotella 15w40 in engine

1 each Hydraulic and Engine oil filters Purolator L30001 (quantity 2)

Cost for new oils and filters about $185.00
