\o/ yesterday late evening the move is done! I'm cut, I'm scrapped, I'm burned, I'm bruised, I have popped blood blisters, I'm tired, I'm sore. I used musles I haven't used in a long time. I dropped 2 inches from my waist size. Pants won't stay up, going to have to start wearing older pants that I out grew.

The nasty hands and arms of moving. Good thing God heals wounds.

I even had a little time to fish the pond and caught this 1 1/2 lb bass

Metering 110 ft from the house off the pole, below ground with customer side main shutoff on the pole and also a outdoor main with shutoff and 16 slots. If there is ever a fire, the fire department can cut the power at the pole or the house. The way it's wired now the fire dept would have to wait for the electric coop to cut the power at the transformer.

Personally, I'll be happy to be up to code and get rid of all this overhead wiring and poles pulled up.

Plus I get 220 volts 200 amp main in the house, 220 volts 200 amp main in the man cave, 220 volts 100 amp main in the garage and 220 volts 100 amp main in the barn. All underground

This is the last trench to complete all of the underground circuits. We are the last pole on the road.

I just purchased the original 14' of base cabinets, 2x 7' black slate counter tops and the 8' of upper cabinets for $150.00. nice solid wood unpainted cabinets and uncracked thick slate counter tops from 1920.

They are going on this 16' wall in my man cave.

Old wash house sat here at one time on this 12 x 14 slab not far from the back door.

Standing at the back door. Yep under the 10x10 deck is another cistern. I eventually would like to pump it dry and convert into a root cellar/tornado shelter. I'm going to have to cross it anyways when I bump out the back of the house. One can only imagine doing laundry back in the 20's, get water from the cistern to wash clothes in the wash house. I don't really know how big this cistern is but the sand filter for gutter down spout sits on the corner of the house. There is a overflow pipe that runs to the ditch up by the road in front of the house. Both cisterns are connected with valves so when the main cistern runs low it can be filled with the other backup cistern that's by the orchard. Thinking about all of this is kind of mind boggling... We have it so easy today. With city water and electricity that comes off a pole.

While I love seeing all this....the "other house" at the back, abandoned is really where I want to go look!!!!!! Don't make me fly there!
