She's amazing for 92!
Bread and butter or cookies with coffee for breakfast. Isn't that what we consider continental now?
I wonder what dishes our era will come up with to weather this worsening economic crisis.

Clara's family is very lucky to still have her around and very smart to capture her memories. My dad used to make memory meals like this for us.

My paternal grandmother, who would have been 109 this past February 12, used to make lots of these meals. Her version of the poorman's meal included whatever root vegetable they had from the garden, if they didn't have potatoes. Also, my grandpap bartered for a friend's homemade sausages.
