Hello everyone. I recently found this site. I was involved in the SimpleLiving.net forum that is about to go away, so I thought I would check this place out. It's got a slightly different angle but a lot of the same concepts.

I'm live in NE Ohio - East of Cleveland. I work a mind-numbing job currently but hope to one day open my own business. I like to cook from scratch and grow my own food. Someday we may get some livestock (chickens and work our way up) but we're not there yet.

It's quiet today, but we still have over a foot on the ground. I measured 20 inches over 3 days in that big storm we had about 2 weeks ago. At one point it was snowing 2 inches an hour.

No problems with a white Christmas here in NE Ohio.
