@CrealCritter and @Beekissed I've been thinking of growing clover in my pathways in my garden. I like the idea of attracting bees to my garden. :) Last year the weeds quickly got waist high after we got a foot of rain in a month's time. I have old hay there now, but I like the idea of planting clover in that hay so that anything that does come up is beneficial. Last year was the first year in a really long time since that area was used as a garden, so I'm trying to rehab it. @Britesea, Fava beans sound good too. Thanks for the suggestion! I've never grown those before, and certainly wouldn't have thought of fhem. I might use those around the perimeter and see if we like them.
