Happy as a pig in mud!

We got a new place over the weekend and after lots and lots of unpacking I finally got to start on my yard. I got my compost started today (whoot!) and started on the chicken coop. I hope to have it finished by sunday and have the chickens inside. I know that this isn't really news or helpful to anyone but I am so excited I wanted to share!

I think it's big news. I remember how excited I was to get my chickens. The latest excitement around here has been getting our goats. Please continue sharing. I love to hear of others progress.

i think it is 1.3 acres (not much at all) but we will be using every inch. We got the nest built today along with a tray at the bottom. We will finish it tomorrow and I will try to get some before and after photos. My plan is to have chickens by sunday....I was given a feeder today so now I have one plastic and one metal. We don't say no to free around here. Thanks for all the congrats and well wishes...will keep you guys posted.
