Here is a link to a bit of information about it.

It says the berries are edible. Some sites say they taste a bit like chocolate when cooked?? Some sites say it taste like burnt carmel. While other say they are very bitter, some say they are sweet if left till completely ripe. Has any one tasted them before.

If the berries actually taste ok. I would think this would be a great plant to grow in the front yard, in areas that dont allow vegis to be grown in the front. That way every plant has a purpose (eatting) that you can grow.

I found this plant growing wild when I went blackberry picking yesterday. Ive been thinking about getting some seeds from it to grow for myself..

This plant is new to me, but wow! I sure like the looks of it, and agree, planting edibles is the way to go. By the description, it sure wouldn't perform here, wish it would.
