Yesterday I did an interview with a Naturopathic physician and I found that he was very knowledgable on a wide variety of topics. Although our interview revolved around treating infections I came to find out that he is a thyroid specialist and uses alternative approaches to the treatment of its conditions. He is graduated from a 4 year post grad naturoapthic school and he is licensed to prescribe drugs which he avoids as much as possible.. but in the treatment of hashimotos some prescriptions are needed, with the end goal to elimiinate them.
He has really tackled the Hasimotos issue and since I know there are a couple of folks here who have this conditon I thought I would post the link to his book on Hasimoto's.
I have not read the book in full yet but it offers enought sample pages for you to get an understanding of where he is going and how he gets there. I hope this will be helpful to some.
