Two pallets were used and the boards taken off of one side on each of them. Kind of just thrown together but the gals aren't tearing out massy gobs and leaving them lay about. And yes, it serves as a section of fence, so animals on both sides can have access.
Once we have permanent access to a larger barn I have a design of an indoor hay bunk that I've been thinking of, one that might look half decent.
