Bein a Yankee, I never heard of these things you call muscadines. What do they taste like? How do you prepare them? I'm from Macintosh apple and maple syrup country. Welcome!

muscadines are a type of grape....native to southeastern usa. we can grow grapes here, but we have a disease (pierce disease) in the soil in our region that kils them after about 5 or 6 years. muscadines are immune to that disease.

they are seeded.....taste depends on which type of muscadine u have (multiple different types....i know of one even called "pineapple).

i know some that eat them as a fresh fruit, but they are best for making jelly and wine.
