Hi everybody!
I'm Karen from central Oklahoma. My husband and I raise chickens for meat and eggs and honey bees. We just had our last steer butchered a few weeks ago, but due to an injury I'm not sure if we will be raising another one. We also have a veggie garden and a few fruit and nut trees.

Welcome!! Did the steer injure you? Sorry about that. We raise sheep for the lamb and we raise feeder pigs for the freezer. If you want to raise your meat, you might want to try a couple of pigs. Sheep and pigs can hurt you, but at least they are smaller than a steer. I had cows, bulls, don't want to wrestle 2,000 pound bulls any more!
