Hello all, I am from BYC and just found this site, it's right up my alley.
I hunt, fish, grow my own veggie's,hurbs and brew my own beer.
I am just about to do the chicken thing as soon as the coop is done.

Welcome to the forum! I've lived in Rhode Island once...for a 3 month work contract. Had a place in Newport.

What kind of place do you have there and are you thinking about going SS?

You are just used to the fast pace of byc!!! We are busy here, doing all the tasks of being ss, not just talking about it..... So don't get discouraged if your posts go unanswered for a few hours if the weather is good across the country!

Thanks all, today I start construction of my Barn/coop.
I have building material all over my yard. Kind of looks like country Sanford and son.

My yard does to, at least over by the shed where DH does most of his work. It just kills me...but I'm gonna hush because it won't fit in the shed because he's redoing a china hutch for me that we picked up for 100 bucks.
