Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well! I found this website bouncing around backyard chickens, and decided to join up with the hopes to gain more knowledge about living self-sufficient. My husband and I, and our toddler, live on about 20 acres, and currently have cows, a bull, and chickens. In the future, we hope to expand to a couple of goats, rabbits, and my personal favorite, bees!
I enjoy all the aspects of this lifestyle, from growing, canning, and cooking, to making my own cleaning and beauty products. Our level of self-sufficiency is still pretty low by some standards, but I hope browsing this site and meeting you guys will give me the push to take it even further. In turn, I hope I can offer up some of my own information as well! Thanks for reading
