Greetings!
Welcome, There are some really good hearted people on this site. Who are willing to share their knowledge and wisdom.Hi, I'm Perris. I live in the Gower peninsula in Wales, an area of outstanding natural beauty, and I'm interested in self-sufficiency because I'd like to help to try to keep it that way. I expect to learn a lot here, and in due course contribute to the collective wisdom.

that's amazing; I guess it's because we're not long past the equinox. You must be a lot further south than us. We're at 52N, about level with some of Alaska, Newfoundland etc..We are about the same sunrise/sunset. LOL Here in east Texas today's sunrise is 7:22 and sunset is 6:54
I am at latitude 59 so a little further north.that's amazing; I guess it's because we're not long past the equinox. You must be a lot further south than us. We're at 52N, about level with some of Alaska, Newfoundland etc..
We are past last harvest and rolling quickly down into winter.Autumn is just starting here, the 'season of mist and mellow fruitfulness', but the nights are drawing in fast.
