I have been looking for garlic to get planted asap but no luck as of yet. When we do some more sidewalk work this next Jan/Feb., I plan to make a herb garden out back of my house. We were going to put in all flower beds but I want a herb garden in one area. Not 100% what all I will be planting either.

When I was in El Paso, I grew chocolate mint, orange mint, apple mint, pineapple mint, and spearmint, lemon verbena, french tarragon, lemongrass, lemon balm, and rosemary...but when i moved, I left everything. Now I have chocolate mint, lemongrass, spearmint, and growing some cilantro, basil, and greens.

Any kind of herb is great for growing inside! Rule of thumb is basically make sure you are going to use the herb and make sure it's in a well lit place!
