I am a stay at home mommy of two kids ages 8 and 5. I hope to eventually run my own self sufficient farm. Right now I have 3 acres to work with. We raise chickens as of now hopefully soon we will raise our own pork. We have Satsuma, lemon, lime, pecan, black walnut, blueberries, peach, and grapes all planted here at our place and of course a garden. Im learning by trial and error how to save my own seed and I also "put up" as much as I can so that we do not buy store bought things that we can raise on our own.
