Homemade house?

We had a contractor build a pole barn and we finished off the inside for a "temporary" house. We've been in it for 10 years.

Your "temporary" house looks pretty nice for a pole barn, it looks like you can drive right in during a rain storm to unload your groceries.

Many years ago I thought about doing just as you didn't plan on and build a live in pole barn to keep property taxes low. In the area I was planning on building it would of saved me $200 a month in taxes.
