I posted this earlier in a discussion about peroxide.....

Homemade Oxy-Clean
1 cup hot water
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide

Add 1/4 cup to wash load. Soak clothes overnight if you're removing old stains or blood.

Is this safe on colors or other delicate fabrics?

I've used it on whites and really dirty barn/work clothes. I would suggest trying it out on an inconspicuous spot. I'm not sure that manufactured oxy-clean is meant for delicates......

WHat do you store it in?
I use wide mouth quart canning jars, spray bottles, old margarine tubs, old yogurt tubs, old plastic gallon vinegar jugs for storing all my homemade cleaners.

Thanks, I give that a try for DHs 'hubby truck' clothes.
