I've been making lip balms using a recipe I found that calls for 4 tablespoons of almond oil, one tablespoon beeswax and one teaspoon of honey, plus whatever essential oils you like, added (along with the honey) once the wax has melted and the oils removed from the heat.
Every time, I've had the honey just settle to the bottom the second I stop stirring. Obviously, as much as I'd like, I can't be stirring WHILE I'm pouring the hot mixture into the tiny tins for balm. I'm wondering if someone has any smart ideas about how to get the honey more fully incorporated with the oils. Am I just not stirring long enough?
Thanks for any advice!
