How to tame the frizzies?

Update.... So the coconut oil didn't seem to do much, although I smell fabulous.

I took a spray bottle and put in equal parts filtered water & ACV and sprayed that on my dry hair. It seems to have tidied up my curls a bit.

I do about a 50/50 mixture. You can also put some of your favorite herbs, like chamomile for instance, to make it smell a bit nicer. Not to mention that chamomile is good for irritated/itchy scalps. I've used a teabag to infuse so you don't have to strain it.

I might get kicked off the forum for this one, but:
I use a product called Moroccan Oil. I rub a couple drops on the ends when it's damp, and it makes it soooo smooth and shiny.
Don't kill me, but it's $40 a bottle.:hide
I get a lot of hair compliments since I started using it. It makes things springy and "Asian-smooth"...yeah, I have Asian hair envy

Horrible price aside, the last bottle lasted me a year. It's potent stuff.

Thanks big brown horse! Occamstazer, I've used that before and it is REALLY nice!! Smells sooooo good too!!

I have curly hair. Used to have frizzy hair until I went no-poo. I love it! Maybe it is worth a try?

I (and many others) tried that last year, I did not have great sucess.

Tort, care to share your secrets???

My hair can be a nightmare....its super thick, and although not wavy by nature, if left to its own devices it poofs out and frizzes like crazy. I usually get perms and just put gel in after a shower, then let it air dry. However, lately I've been going 'gel free'....my solution to the daily frizzies has been to not completely rinse out my conditioner. I don't apply it to my scalp, just to the part thats about an inch from my scalp on down to the ends. I rinse out enough so its not gross, but leave some in. It really seems to help.

I tried it last year (and 2 years before that) with zero success. Baking soda DRIED out my hair something terrible and the vinegar didn't work. The oil treatments didn't help - they were too greasy. It was an awful (and short!) disaster.

I sort of weaned my hair onto it. I wash shampoo-ing every 3 days. I stopped using conditioner first. Then I skipped a shampoo to see how it went. I still did a hot water rinse every 3 days. It wasn't an intentional attempt at no-poo. I saw a thread on here and realized I had already started it and was on day 6! :)

I just rinse with 1/2 cup lemon juice mixed with 1/2 cup warm water whenever it starts to look like it's thinking about being oily.

I think some people try to experiment and do too much at the beginning.

Today is day 17:
