I learned a lot on this site. It is a requisite to have buckets of stored dry foods such as rice, beans, wheat, and so on. 
I now have a grain mill, electric and hand crank, that I use to mill my own corn and it makes the best cornbread ever! I would have never thought of that, had I not been a member here. I already had pack rat tendencies, this site not only justified my need to scrounge rusty corrugated tin, used lumber, pallets, hay twine, bricks, and other various "valuable" items, it is celebrated and congratulated here! 
There is lots of good information here and some very nice people. You will enjoy this site. Welcome!
