About 6 years ago, my DH totalled his best friend's new cruiser. It only had 90 miles on it. He was going a bit fast around a curve and hit loose gravel. He was less than 1/2 mile from home.

He ended up 5 days in the hospital and three broken ribs. He was very lucky. The paint was scraped off the top of his helmet. He will probably never get on another bike, thank goodness.

You were very lucky too. I hope you recover quickly. Now that the weather is nice, we need to take extra care to watch for riders.

BTW, they are still best friends.

Wow, I am glad that you are ok! Sounds like quite a bad spill.

I have been in ALLOT of pain today more than previous days I think I over did it yesterday.
Plus the strong antibiotic they have me on is messin with my tummy today.
So am trying (key word try) to take it easy but someone has to do all the "stuff" around here lol....
