Tony is off from work today.

Now, he is in the mood to go shopping. UT OH

He wants to go up to Hickory. The big area for stores. Hmm...Sears...means Craftsman stuff...LOL

Could be a high dollar day if I don't keep him in check. He never asks to go shopping. I am in that "oh boy, what does he want and how much will it cost" situation..LOL-LOL

So got the critters fed and watered and all that mess, so off to the shopping land we go. And I know he will want to eat out, he mentioned BBQ at Bennetts. Ugh.

Seems like it is going to be hubby's day to spend.

Got a good padlock on the wallet, he might find it hard to spend alot....HA HA HA

So off we go in a bit. Help! :P

I had my day planned. Seems it is all changing real fast!!!

So how do hubby's "home for the day" effect ya'll?

Let ya know what he bought when we come back! :)
LOL

Well, mine's home everyday, but even with him home he still manages to sometimes change my plans for the day. I think it's a man thing.

Mine is home all day.
I go to work most everyday, unless it is an optional day(which means business and the economy are down). I do need the time away or I'd be a nutcase.

That said, when DH worked he would come home with grand ideas after he and the boys at work spent the day dreaming up stuff. I don't think we would have bought as much stuff for the Y2K as we did had it not been for co-worker influence.
This went beyond a Craftsman tool. You are lucky to be getting away so cheap. Try a $1000 cistern, $1200 tank, $5000 pond on for size. And those are just the water features.

Thankfully with a night shift mine sleeps most of the day :P He's a funny thing, though, for the most part he's very frugal, but get him near a Sears or Home Depot and the budget gets lost in the haze of boy toys!

Ahhh, husbands. Thankfully, mine is not a spender. When he's around the house, we just spend way too much time chit-chatting instead of getting work done. As much as I love the guy, during the day I just want him to GO get his own work done (LOTS of rainy days this fall) and let me get mine done. :)

Hubby and I work together.

Weekends we have issues with though. He thinks I need to work or do projects, or watch Max while he goes off somewhere and I think I need to go spend time with my girl friends. :P

We work things out though.

As for home depot or lowes...I am the one that has to be careful. Or craft stores. They get me every time :D

Mine is at home all the time, so it's my days off that throw off the routine
We tend to do more outside (when it's not raining cats & dogs :rant ) when I'm off work.

Mine has a lot of flexibility in his day, he rarely comes home early (which would be better for me!) but he does tend to laze around and read the paper before he heads out...which mean that I don't get a start on my chores because I am sitting on my butt having coffee and keeping him company.

Since the change in my dh work schedule he is out the door at 4 am and usually not back until 4pm. Durring the week he does what ever he wants I don't ask for much he is usually crabby and very tired. The weekend revolves around a list. If I write it down he will get it all done and over with then waste away the rest of his time.

No more shopping for my dh. he knows the budget is tight and his garage looks like a Home Depot already. he just shops down there.

My dh doesn't likes to shop just to shop.... and he hates Lowe's and Home Depot! :D

He will be off tomorrow, then he works again until next week-end. Is off for his birthday week-end and then off on the 3rd. Then I think he works 10 or 12 days before he gets another day off.

Tomorrow we are doing laundry, going to the recycle center and the library, and doing some stuff around the house and resting a bit.

For the week-end, we will be busy with Habitat House and a visit from one of his sisters.

Then on the 3rd, I'm hoping we will be moving.

Then he'll be back to work.
