I can't save sent PMs here

I and another user PM'd back and forth a couple of times. We didn't quote one another, and there was a little time between PMs, so I didn't remember what I had said. I went to my 'sent messages' to refresh my memory and my profile is not saving sent PMs.

I looked around for a setting to change so I can have a record of sent messages, but I couldn't find one. How do I do this?

Look again there is a check mark for it. I seldom save unless I'm being exceptionally profound.

There is no automatic save setting, you have to select the check box for any sent messages you want saved.

I always forget.
