.....everyone blames me for their chicken/hatching addictions....even my mother, who is the one who started ME in chickens!

I'm not some evil poultry temptress, ya'll, and I am from now on refusing to take the blame for ya'll's weaknesses in regards to chickens/poultry!

I'll take the blame on getting Becca into waterfowl, though

Well I can't blame you for my chicken addiction - good grief I just typoed that as ADDITION, but I do blame you AND Kel AND Becca for the dreams I have started having of us all living together I swear I'm losing it. Sigh, I'm just really lonely. We have literally no friends at the moment due to (other people's) divorces, job transfers and other life situations. Our neighbors think we are odd and are probably glad we built the fence. We would come your way in a second if it wasn't so far from our families.

We all just envy all the different breeds you are fortunate enough to have and want to compete!!! I'm plotting in my mind now how to get some crested polish.......

Oh oh I have a friend here locally who has polish!! She has blues, White Crested Black Polish...and I think maybe a couple other colors...and they're separated...

Do you have an incubator? I can find out how much she'll charge me to snitch some eggs for you!

Javamama, I wish you could move closer. Until this year, I was in the same boat as you...very few friends...I kept praying for God to show me some decent friends...and now I've a quiver full of friends!!!

Aw, Sorry Java! I'd be thrilled to have you as a friend. We really DO need that Ohio commune don't we!? I have a few friends here, some who actually get the whole chicken/SS thing, but not many. Most think I'm a little tweaked.
