I do automotive repair in my own small shop. I have been around long enough to have outlived a lot of the other fellows that knew how to work on this stuff. I was only 7 years old when this was built. Is that good or bad?

1960 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. 62000 actual original miles. 99% original and unmolested in every way. Some of the straightest sheet metal I have EVER seen. ENJOY!!! I know I sure did!!

How did I miss this thread? Beautiful car! I'm an old car lover, and I know exactly what you mean about straight sheet metal, that's a rare find in a car so old! Now that is one nice land cruiser! I just love fins..... :love

As for the Vette, my favorite year is 58. I like them fine up through about 1969, after that they get too plastic ugly for me, up through about 2004, where they returned to more appealing styling for my eye. Cars nowadays are sooooo boooring!

Anytime you guys are ready, just give me a shout! I don't always have stuff like this around, mostly it's the boring "jelly-bean" shaped things they pass off as automobiles nowadays.

I'll bet you're a Barrett-Jackson Auction fan, right?
I HATE Barret-Jackson for what they have done to the car collecting hobby. Greed has driven the prices so high that most little folks can't afford to play with the old cars anymore. :(

SKR8PN, my first car was a 68 Dodge Coronet. I'll never forget that car! Thank you for posting those pics! If there is one thing that gets my heart racing, its old chrome! :love

My Coronet had a slant 6 that would get down and boogie! :D
