I Love You Chicken

My granddaughter caught this hen while I was in the coop getting eggs. I came out and heard her say as she hugged it, I Love You Chicken. It was pretty cute... Although I'm not so sure the hen thought so. Poor girl was looking like she was almost loved to death.

She is adorable! So cute! She will always remember trailing behind her PawPaw, doing what you do, and hugging the chickens. That is so sweet. And-that hen is a keeper!

I see she has her pink rubber boots on. Around here, they are called chicken boots. We have 3 sizes LOL

I call her Junebug - I don't know why I even started calling her that honestly but I stook. We have a few pairs of rubber boots also. Funny but call them chicky boots. Darn near the same as you guys.

Junebug sure does like chickens!

We call our little pink and blue boots lined up by the back door the "puddle stompers" and the rest of the little shoes either "work shoes" or "chicken shoes".
