I really do hate cancer

For you old timers who remember KCSunshine. Her husband passed away today from liver cancer. It's been a terrible year of suffering.

I had the privilege of meeting them about 5 years ago, they are wonderful folks.

For those of you so inclined, please include them both in your thoughts.

Cancer sucks! I lost my best friend to cancer. I watched a big biker teddy bear turn into a twig. Man it was absolutely awful! He said "yeah I got cancer for all those drugs, drinking and smoking I never did" and he wasn't lying either.

I was there with him and his family in the hospital when he said "it's time to go home" (meaning heaven), he closed his eyes, smiled and died, it was heartbreaking. Even typing this has made me sad and tears are rolling down my cheeks.

My prayers are sent for KCSunshine and family.

And now, my cousin, 5 months younger than me has been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.
