Ok, I have something I need to mix. It says, add 6.7 oz to a gallon of water. (which is 128 ounces, I googled that). thing is, I only want to mix preferably 16 or 32 oz of water, so how do I reduce the 6.7 oz part of the ratio?

I got 1.67 to 32 ounces.

(6.7/128=x/32.... so 128x=214.4.... so 214.4/128 = 1.67)

I think I understood your first line--so basically a bit more than one ounce to 32 ounces of water right? The second line looks like russian to me.

Thank you thank you!!!! :bow

abifae is right. 1.67 oz. per 32 oz. Almost 3/4 oz per 32oz.

We call it ratio and proportion which is solved by cross multiplication. Not sure if it called by something else where you live.
