I want to do stuff with wood

Hello,

I have little experience with woodworking (unless we can count minor remodeling projects).

I'm particularly interested in building bent wood snowshoe frames with hand tools.

That's pretty specialized for this forum, I know, but I suspect that some of the stuff discussed here may apply.
