I hadn't heard of swap.com, so I went there and joined.
I just traded my chocolate dessert book for Nourishing Traditions!!

I've used freecycle, before. I think it's through yahoo. It can be a little trying on your patience because half the time people don't show up to get stuff. (It's always "car trouble":) )

I have gotten some good stuff before though. We were putting in a fire pit/patio out of brick and was able to get as much brick as we could haul away from a house that was being renovated. The only thing we had to pay for in that project was the sand for the base.
