I desparately need help with my employment issue. Having been laid off a week ago, I have some problems with the "agreement" they want me to sign.
As well as a problem with a 401K I elected to withdraw at the begining of may, due to company employee not sending my paperwork in in time, the balance on my 401K dropped by over $500 and I see a fight on my hands!

I really need some help. THe company is based in california so I'm assuming its California Laws involved here.

A lot of cities have free legal aid. http://www.lawhelp.org/ is one such site.

Google your city free legal aid and you should get a few numbers :)
Thank you Abi, do I google the city the company is based or my city? I'll try the company city - there will be many more hits I'm sure

As far as taxes go, "where" are you employed? That may determine who's court it is in. Best of luck with anything.
