as a bit of humor i posted this in TEG but i'll put it here too as it is worth a few chuckles:



this morning Mom calls one of her friends to wish her a Merry Christmas and all that... after talking a few moments the friend says she'll call her back. so Mom is waiting there and the phone rings and she picks it up and says, "Did you have to tinkle?" (no hello or any other greeting) dead silence...

it was my Dad calling to talk. so she told him i was in the shower.

she didn't recognize his voice. lol

we've been laughing about this since.

i did call him back and we talked for a while.

her friend hasn't called back yet...

i'm sort of jealous. i like some snow on the ground. it looks pretty blah here without it. all greys and browns and only a few bits of green here or there other than the cedar trees and pines. i like to think of it as a nice white blanket for all the sleeping plantses.

today i only have to make biscuits for shortcakes and that's it - in the morning i can mash the berries.
