Its raining!

For the first time in over 3 months we are getting wet. Not much, probably not measurable, but my porch has rain drops on it! Its a start and I'm hoping for no lightening.

We so DESERATELY need rain!!!

Haven't had any in months with 100 degree temps.

Tonight I'm sleeping outside because:
1) It's real warm outside
2) they say if you want it to rain, plan a picnic.

I'm tempting . . . no, DARING it to rain on me!!

And hubby is outside now washing his nice pretty shiny car that he does not want to get even one drop of rain on.

I have the laundry hanging to dry and I'm NOT taking it down!

I watered my transplanted flowers this evening. Now it is going to rain for sure!

I took down my laundry, and closed the windows in my tack shed. I'm hoping that will KEEP it from raining! I'd rather y'all get it this time.

We got about 10 drops of rain but it is coming down all around us. At least my well will get water. So far 2 reports of lightening started fires both put out quick. We are fairly flat desert surrounded by mountains so our fire dpt is quick to get to fires. No mountains to climb.
