we have Nibbles incarcerated b/c its so slippery out there. and she is screaming her head off. makes me nervous with all these early babies!

I did errands already. We had to go get passports so DH and the kids can go to Canada with his family. Then I went to the grocery to stock up.
We aren't slipping around anymore. Most of our stuff is crunchy now thank goodness. Poor Nibbles. Safety first though!

I cleaned a layer out of the barn yesterday and gave them fresh clean and dry bedding. I would like to give them both an udder trim, but I don't know if we will since Rory is being so testy. Nothing else to do but twiddle my thumbs and cheer for SD :ya

Actually, I'm trying my hardest to NOT make chocolate cake. I need to lose about 5 pounds and that won't help at all.

Me too :/ I went to Whole Foods earlier but the weather was so crappy that I didn't really enjoy being out.

Yesterday was great though! That sunshine was awesome. I spent a couple hours outside just cleaning barns and stuff.
 
yep me too.. we were outside in the afternoon and it was wonderful. got just little bits and bobs of things done. when we arent covered in ice its a big mud bog.

the geese ran outside today and then basically fell in a heap. it was too slip-slidy for them!

whole foods?? (*weeps quietyly*) i think its been over a year since i've been there... i miss the bulk spices section....

but i did stand in front of the pasture eggs section and laugh myself silly. if i can get Baby Barnee to lay more of her extra-small-and-really-green eggs i'd be rich!

I think Perdy is in early labor. She's very focused and still panting. Her udder has filled out in the last couple hours and she isn't getting up to poo.
I'm keeping a close eye on her.

Also very odd - the ducks are standing outside the goat pen staring like a little webfooted audience

Ugh, maybe I will make that cake. I need something to focus on too.

Whoooo Whoooo! Our goats coming only a day or so apart! Isn't that special, especially when they are both early!
 
I hope she doesn't drag this out for days :fl
