I swear as soon as I wrote about our dusting it started snowing great big fat flakes. Very pretty, but I've had enough. I don't remember a year where we've had snow on the ground for such a long time.
Karen I hope your doe holds off for a few days.

Perdy's whole back end is just rolling and contorting now. I have seen her hunch up a couple of times, so she's getting those kids in position.

I'm gonna go make a grilled cheese sandwich. It's what sounds good today.

I know! I should be doing work right now, getting myself ahead since I have that sick gut feeling I'm going to have to stay home a day or two this week to watch her, but I can't get myself off of mare stare! Those dang goats at Phoenix Rising are just too cute.

Shadowpaints also has a goat on cam that is way overdue....guess I'll be switching back and forth.

Tonight Big G and I are going to lock Fudgie in her "kidding stall" which is basically the goat barn that I'm cutting into two with a cattle panel. She'll be on one side with no access to the outdoors while the other goats can come and go as they please.

I think today might be Molly's day. She looks funny around the tail. Her hooey is big and she is getting her udder. I can see this through the window. She is extremely skittish when I go out there and hides behind the stupid barn.

I think this is going to be a long day.

My Rory has gone from 'don't even look at me' to 'please massage me all over' And her udder has grown alot today.
Perdy is still a barrel on legs. Her ligs are almost gone from what I can tell. I don't expect any action today but ya never know
