I didn't know where to put this so if it's not appropriate, feel free to move it.
I read survivalblog.com on a regular basis. The authors wife has been battling an undisclosed illness for about a year now. Yesterday she passed on. The reason I'm mentioning this here is because she had to be the strongest woman I've ever heard of. Back in July she made a post in Jim's blog looking for someone to replace her when she died. (She knew then, that it was getting close.)
If you want to read a heart-wrenching post, follow this link. Her strength put a knot in my stomach when I originally read it.
And we think we have hardships in our lives. :/

Okay, that made my sob at my desk. Thats the sort of thing I would want to do for my husband, should the need ever arise.

Thanks for posting that.

Back in July when it was first posted, I read it to DW and she felt the same way although she doesn't think she would be able to interview someone to take her place.
