Thats where the chicken wire comes in.... I'm thinking a couple layers of it! LOL

If we end up doing this project, I will certainly post pictures!! (We probably will, we're desperate for ways to conserve... power bill was only $195 in November and jumped up to $489 in December! And its been a mild winter... YIKES!!!)

Yes, some of the cows think its a big cookie. Also it will blow away in a stiff wind so I wrap it with chicken wire and bolt a piece of scrap wood to it to weight it down a bit. Its actually a good thing to have a cow playing with it because they break it loose from the surrounding skim of ice and learn to push it down to make a drinking hole.
