keljonma's Front Porch - Settling in and adjusting

"My dh and his friend were going to meet at Main Street Caf today, but dh said it looks like it is permanently closed. So they went to Quinns instead."

I read in the local paper that they have sold most of the area in Madison Village (in the square) and in a few years it will not look the same.

Re: Chagrin Falls. I havn't been there in years...From your pics...That is one town that has not changed...Thank Goodness...beautiful. I love the falls that run through the town. I heard they had there pumpkin gathering this year at the top of the hill. They talk about stopping that tradition every time someone gets hurt sliding down the hill on pumpkin goo!! That's been going on for many years.

The wind was rediculous this morning!! The rain was just pelting the windows because it was so windy!! A bunch of the kiddos yard toys blew all over too!

yup, it was windy here, too. Thought a couple times it was going to blow our stove pipe off for the woodburner.

Chickerdoodles seemed to enjoy that it was a nice, if windy, day, though. They took advantage of the free range time!

That's Just what happened to us on Friday when we had the high winds. I keep saying I'm going to take down this huge purple martin house in the back yard and put up a wind turbine!!!

Yesterday was windy here. Blew all the dead limbs down on top of my netting over my chicken run. That will take a full day to clean up. All the netting will have to be restretched.
Weird weather happening around here.
