keljonma's Front Porch - Settling in and adjusting

Oh honey.....I'm so sorry....I tear up just thinking about it, I know he was a sweet old boy and you are sorry to see him go :hugs

Thanks to everyone for your kind thoughts. Our weather has matched our moods this week-end. Rainy and chilly, temps havent gotten above the mid 40s.

This morning it was 30 and we had sleet as I drove TR to work.

TR had the week-end off, but we skipped out on the beek meeting on Saturday (and the auction) to visit my sister C and her daughters. We also saw the Civil War era movie, The Conspirator. If you enjoy history of this era, this movie was spot on, with an interesting insight into what could happen in todays political climate.

Yesterday after church we went with our friend Pat to Koinonia for the closing ceremonies. It was Mens Koinonia Week-end Number 101.

Afterward, back at home, we re-watched an old Foyle PBS episode from season 2.

This morning I have been playing catch-up on email and some of my old favorite sites now that we have internet at home. This afternoon I will be working on appliqu on quilts.

Have fun!

Thanks, QA. We're struggling through. Our kitchen looks twice as large without feed and water bowls and super large dog bed in it. And the house is VERY quiet.......

I understand. Our Pug has been gone a year, & his bed is still in the same spot, right where he left it. It's hard to let go. :(

sorry to hear about your dog. life is hard when friends are taken!
stay strong :)
