Yes....We use electric fence to keep our goats in.But when we don't,like last summer when Moe,one of our goats got pinkeye,we separated him and of course he got out,in like 90 degree weather and was very hard to get back in..

When I was about 10 we stayed at a holiday resort for 3 weeks or so on vacation and the owners had some ponies and goats. One of the goats, a female, was running loose and we had so much fun with her... I'll never forget the day we went out, without my dad, he wanted to nap. Came back and found him and the goat on the bed sharing a packet of raisins!
