Have any of you had fibroids?

How sick can it make you - aside from the lovely amount of pain of course...

Is surgery the only real answer??

Surgery was the only answer for me. And once inside they discovered that it was much worse than expected. I don't usually run around giving modern medicine or surgery a high 5. But I know it was the best thing for me.

Surgery is often the best answer, and isn't always as invasive as it used to be. If you are experiencing pain, you should give serious consideration to the surgery. Once you are restored to full health, you will wonder how you could have ever waited.

My SIL had them, They first did ablation-That didn't work. She then had an hysterectomy. No further problems. (Well she was a bit cranky for a few months afterwards) She's fine now.
