Last night I cooked leg of lamb. I cut slits in the meat on both sides and stuffed garlic cloves in it. I poured a half cup of sherry wine in and laid the leg on several sprigs of rosemary.

Then I fixed fried okra, cream corn and rice cooked in beef bone broth. It was a delicious meal. @CrealCritter i fixed you a plate, where were you?

Tonight I made lamb stew. I cut up 4 carrots, 3 potatoes and mushrooms. I poured a cup of beef bone broth in with the already rich broth in the pot and added a little water. Then I simmered it low and slow. @CrealCritter get a spoon and a bowl!

I've never had lamb, but that sounds delicious! Our mission this year (one of the many) is to hit up local farms and try meat from different breeds. We'd better figure out what we like before we get sheep!

That looks wonderful! @CrealCritter I made beef stew yesterday and still have some left, if you're quick… ;)
