Me first. DH threw this at me. It looks very similar to parsley but the smell is off. What do y’all think it is?

Can you find out if it had tiny white flowers? What does it smell like? Maybe wild chervil?

This was going to be my second guess @Medicine Woman are the stems smooth or have hairs on them?

@Medicine Woman smell like a carrot or more musty-ish. (ha is that a word)

Don't taste it. Could be poison hemlock. Parsley/carrot family is kinda scary. "There is no wild carrot" is a saying to keep foragers from killing themselves with hemlock

Agree with this and hemlock likes wet places-think river banks, marsh, etc.

Though in the pictures the stems look to be hairy, hemlock is smooth, hollow and can have red/purple-ish streaks, splatter etc.

But yeah, I don't eat anything that I don't know where it came from as there are too many look-a-likes out there

It’s hairy. Also DH says it gets some little red flowers but I know where he found it and I will keep my eyes open. Plant identification is something I would want to improve upon actually. My studies didn’t pay as close attention to this as I would have liked.

Hi I am renee . Looks like mugwart to me but would need more pic to know for sure. I grow mugwart by mine is dormant this time a year or I would post pic for you to compare.
