I am thankful everyday when I am able to get up in the morning and am able to keep upright.

I am thankful that I can hear a cricket chirp, a bird sing, hear the noises my animals make.

Each day that I have like this is a gift from God.

I understand very well. I have a dear friend who feels like this, due to all her health issues.


I got the rhubarb plant planted. That is a blessing.
I had a great day, working in the sun. It was still cold, but it was so wonderful to get laundry hung and dried, to weed the asparagus bed, to pick tiny greens for a salad, to discover that the beets are big enough to eat and to watch my critters frolick.
