OK you got me, who is umberto eco? what kind of books? :)
Long wordy books with extensive digressions into semiotics and the fascinating minutiae of history :p

The Name of the Rose (was made into an 'enh' movie with sean connery, but the book is excellent) and Foucault's Pendulum (my favorite!) and Island of the Day Before (I probably have that title slightly wrong) are probably his most relatively normal books.

This is difficult I have so many favorites. I would much rather read a book than watch TV.

Fiction Terri Blackstock Last Light series

Non Fiction Bible
Books about nutrition and diet
Books on animal care or homesteading
Books on traveling especially Back Packing across America type

Suspense/Fantasy Ted Dekker all

Humorous Western Stephen Bly all

Romance Beverly Lewis all

I don't care for much Sci-fi or Horror.

I have a good collection of books I have picked up from garage sales
just in case.
