My husband went to let my chickens out this morning and look what he found peeking out from under one of my buffs!

I just hope the other three eggs come peeping out too!

ETA: I know the picture quality isn't great. I'll try to get some better ones later. It was really dark underneath the mama.

We're expecting in a week! I can hardly wait. And I already had chicks once this year

We're up to TWO chicks now! And strangly, a whole lot of eggs I didn't put under her.

Other hens sneak in and deposit eggs....I put my turkey on 15 eggs, and she came off of 30!

I have a broody, too, and just stuffed the 18th and final egg under her this afternoon.

Darn sex-links anyway ours just do the fire-lay...ya know-stop, drop & let it roll kinda thingy.
Now that I'm down to one hen, that gives me a great excuse to get new ones
