Hi everyone,
New to this forum. Im starting to make my own dairy products, (cottage cheese, butter, yogurt) and i want to buy a yogurt maker. the problem is, im using organic raw milk. So, to keep the "raw" benefits intact, the yogurt shouldnt be heated above 100 degrees. After it gets that high, the benefits of the raw milk start to degrade and arent as numerous as if it werent heated that high. Seems like most yogurt makers heat to 180 degrees. Im wondering if anyone knows of any yogurt maker that doesnt heat this high, or has a adjustable heat setting. Thank you so much, i want to get one ASAP but dont want to get the wrong one. - Rach

I've read that you can use some dehydrators to make yogurt too. And you can set the temp to what you want.

I use the picnic cooler method, too. It works just fine and I don't have to find storage space in the house for another appliance!
