Lorihadams-- hi guys...been busy!

Yeaaaahhhhh!! :celebrate

So happy for you. We have some friends who've been trying to sell a house in Franklin Co for YEARS!

We just got a visit from our realtor who brought us a check and a $40 gift card to the local movie theatre and some snacks for the kids. We love her. :D

So hubby and I measured off for the garden....20ft x 50 ft and we are doing 6 or 8- 4x4 ft raised beds I think.

We also measured off for the goat run and it will be 650 feet in length all the way round. We have to have 600 feet of fencing wire and we are trying to decide whether to go with the roll of 4x4 goat fencing or the 2x4 horse fencing for the nigis. What do you guys think?

Oh and we just found out that the people that bought our house are expecting and so is our realtor's son! Babies everywhere!

I know nothing about horse fencing, but I really like the goat fencing we got. My goats put their full weight on it and it holds really well. I have no idea if Nigi babies could get through the 4x4 holes and my mini-mancha kids haven't had the opportunity to try yet.

I have the 2x4 woven wire horse fencing. All my posts are 6" wooden posts so my fence doesn't have a lot of give when any animals rub up against it. Made sure it was tight because the alpacas like to rub against fencing. The little Nigi kid heads could get stuck in the 4x4.

I discovered that Nigerians are capable of fitting through a very small hole.
Basically, if they can get their head through it, they can get their fat bodies through as well

Oh post pics of the raised beds! Either before or after plants but I would love to see what they look like full of veggies!

Yay! You must be thrilled :thumbsup

Glad to hear that project is all wrapped up and now you can move on to more fun things!
